One out of every five children in Missouri is living in poverty.*

While free resources for healthcare, food banks and clothing options are available, transportation to them is challenging. Many families do not have a car or extra money for gas or bus passes. With the firm belief that every child deserves the tools they need for academic achievement the pantry is a free store for students located IN their school.

Northland Miracles partners with the Park Hill and Platte County R-3 South Campus Districts to house pantry items within the school.

The number of homeless children in Kansas City is increasing at a rate of over 20% per year, making children the fastest growing segment of the homeless population.*

Families who struggle to make ends meet are at times faced with situations of making a choice between paying the water bill or paying the electric bill.

Northland Miracles partners with the Park Hill and Platte County R-3 Districts to identify students at risk for homelessness. The program provides financial assistance to ensure students remain IN their homes during the school year and are focused on learning.
